Avonic – in close cooperation with Dutch integrator partner Fidato has secured the contract for the new town hall meeting installation. 4 compact and inconspicuously placed Avonic CM70-IP PTZ cameras, in combination with a fixed overview camera, deliver excellent HD image quality.
The municipality of Zwartewaterland in the province Overijssel in the Netherlands is named after the Zwarte Water river. The community was created in the year of 2001 by the merge of the communities Genemuiden, Hasselt and Zwartsluis. De community counts over 22.500 inhabitants and has a surface of 87,91 km².
In the middle of 2019 the community tendered for the replacement of the existing conference installation. The choice was made to live stream the council meetings with video and audio for even more democratic transparency.
Avonic partner Fidato made the best suiting design and was chosen by the municipality to provide a future proof system. With progressive insight, the design was tailor-made to the additional wishes of the community. Avonic was chosen as the camera system, 4x Avonic CM70-IP cameras are placed at strategic locations within the council meeting room and respond quickly to new to-speak request so the representatives are directly displayed and well-focused. The CM70-IP provides full HD output, 20x Optical zoom, 3G-SDI, HDMI and full one-wire IP connectivity.
The Avonic CM70-IP cameras are integrated into the design along with a wired Televic audio conference system, Crestron switcher/scaler presentation system, Extron cable cubby connection points. An Epson projector provides the images for the presentations and the sound system includes Sennheiser microphones and a speaker system from Omniwave.
