It’s finally here!

What started as a product idea during the summer of 2024 — tested through customer feedback in September and shaped by detailed competitive analysis — has now become a reality.

By October, we had our first prototype samples of what would become the CM32. At that stage, it was nothing more than a handful of components for hardware and optical verification. Even though our requirements were clear from the start, piecing together the right components was no easy puzzle.

With the high bar set by the CM93, we knew this couldn’t be just another camera. Even though the CM32 is aimed at a different segment — with different expectations and budgets — it still had to meet Avonic’s own high standards.

Once the proof of concept was approved, the real challenge began: designing the PCB, fitting everything into the familiar CM70-series housing. Fortunately, the CM70 chassis turned out to be flexible enough for the new design, allowing us to reuse some of the mechanical parts.

After months of focused work on certifications, hardware and firmware tuning, and documentation, I’m proud to say — the CM32 is here.

Kudos to the entire Avonic engineering team. We hope you like what we’ve built!
