Avonic is proud to have contributed to Hungary’s successful six-month rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union, held from 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024.

During this historic presidency, Hungary organized over 1,204 working group meetings, 53 Coreper meetings, 39 formal Council meetings, 14 informal Council meetings, 300 side events, and two of the largest diplomatic events in Hungarian history: a summit of the EPC and one of the European Council.

The venues were equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including the Bosch Dicentis conference system, Bosch Integrus language distribution system, MVI EasyConf and EasyCam meeting and camera control, Avonic 4K PTZ cameras, Pro DVX nameplate displays, and more.

For the first time in the history of EU Presidencies, digital nameplates were integrated into the conference system and meeting management application, marking a significant milestone for the event.

The conference and camera system was designed and integrated by AVIO MEDIA.
