When There Is No Second Take at the 2026 NATO Summit

Avonic technology was present at the NATO Summit in Ankara, with Avonic PTZ cameras supporting the professional multi-camera production workflow alongside handheld cameras.

On 8 July 2026, Allied Heads of State and Government gathered for a day of high-level meetings where every word, image and signal needed to be delivered clearly and reliably.

Behind the official coverage was a complex technical environment designed, integrated and operated by Asimetrik Sound, Lighting and Visual Systems Inc. The wider installation included audio, video, conferencing, interpretation, signal distribution and data transfer across the summit, including the North Atlantic Council meetings.

Within this setup, Avonic PTZ cameras formed part of the multi-camera production workflow.

Remote camera control, accurate positioning, signal transport and switching all had to work together seamlessly. The production team needed to capture the right speaker, select the right angle and deliver the right image at the right moment.

There was no room for missed shots or unreliable equipment.

For Avonic, the project is a strong example of where professional PTZ technology adds real value. Precise control, dependable operation and consistent image quality help production teams stay focused on the event rather than the technology behind it.

The result was clear and professional coverage throughout a demanding international production environment.

Because when there is no second take, every part of the system has to perform.
