Capturing magic: 7 Avonic CM93’s registered the Matthäus Passion concert during Easter at the New Church, Delft.

On Thursday, March 28th ’24, the Bach Choir Holland performed the Matthäus Passion. The AV integrator Improve was responsible for the registration of this concert. 7 of Avonic’s CM93 were used to register this magical performance. Watch the video here!

Since its founding in 1921, the Bach Choir Holland has been renowned for its exceptionally high level of performances of the works of J.S. Bach, which are very faithful to the original scores. Conductor Gijs Leenaars, besides being the permanent conductor and artistic director of Bach Choir Holland, is also the chief conductor and artistic director of the Rundfunkchor Berlin. As of 2018, the ensemble has had the New Church in Delft as its home base, where annual traditional performances of the Matthäus Passion are held on White Thursday and Good Friday with professional choir singers, international top soloists, a renowned children’s choir, and the concertbuilding; Chamber Orchestra.
